My name is Jenna Koffee, AKA Mermaid Azora.  I am the owner and founder of Jenna's Swim School.  I have been a mermaid and overall swim enthusiast who has taught swimming since 2004!  My current qualifications include: American Red Cross: Water Safety Instructor, Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Instructor, AED & O2 Administration, and Preventing Disease Transmission.  I enjoy the outdoors, but mostly love being in the water; race swimming, synchronized swimming, water polo, triathlons, scuba diving, snorkeling, free diving, mermaiding and any other aquatic related activity!  I've been a teacher for over 15 years, working with students from pre-school through 8th grade with special needs.

Our Mission Statement

Jenna's Swim School mission is to teach swimming and safety around the water in a fun and relaxing way.  In order to reach this goal, I have hand-picked the most qualified people to help make everyone a mermaid like us!

Jenna's Swim School Instructors are:

• Certified Water Safety Instructors (WSI)

• CPR/AED certified

• Trained to teach water safety

• Have experiences in swimming and/or other aquatic activities

• Positive, patient, friendly, responsible, and FUN!

• Able to custom-make a lesson to fit your needs and swimming goals

Jenna's Swim School Lesson Key Principles:
 

1. Safety- Living so close to the water, safety is our number one priority.  We want to make sure that you and your family are safe in and around the water at all times.  Our instructors are all trained in how to respond to an emergency, should one ever arise. Our instructors teach lessons in a safe way and promote safety throughout every swimming level to help keep all swimmers educated in case of an emergency.

2. Fun- After safety, our biggest goal is to make lessons fun!  We want our swimmers to look forward to lessons and enjoy spending time in the water with and without their instructor.  We believe that the more fun the lesson, the more eager a student is to learn; therefore, a student will learn quicker.  We want to make everyone a mermaid like us!

3. Swimming- Our instructors have a long and strong background in swimming themselves.  We believe that safe swimming as well as technique are equally important when enjoying the life-long sport of swimming. Our instructors develop technique while teaching water safety in a fun way. We want to get our swimmers just as excited about swimming, safety, fitness, and health as much as we are​

Swim Lesson Pricing Information
* Rates are based on 1/2 hour lessons. Please ask for hourly rates and about our cash discount.  For lessons that require extra travel time, a service fee may be applied.  Areas with a travel fee include (but are not limited to): Clearwater, Seminole, Tampa, Tierra Verde, St Pete Beach, Odessa, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Sarasota, Naples, & Fort Myers *

Private Lesson Rates
30 minute Private lesson- $60
45 minute private lesson- $90 
60 minute private lesson- $120

Group Lesson Rates
30 minute group lesson- $40/child 
45 minute group lesson- $60/child
60 minute group lesson- $80/child

Payment

Payment is expected prior to or upon completion of each lesson OR may be purchased ahead of time. We do offer a discount for paying in cash, please email for details.  Jenna's Swim School accepts cash, checks made payable to Jenna's Swim School, or venmo @JennaKoffee.

Cancellation Policy

Swim lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled lesson or you will still be charged the full amount of the lesson.

Weather: Lessons are done in rain or shine.  The only exception is thunder and lightning.  The instructor will call to cancel if this is the case.
